The ninth chapter of the Bedford Book of Genres covers revising your past work. That is something very important that many students do not do. The authors mention how you should surely have a peer look over your work. That is one of the most essential steps. I find it useful especially because I have noticed that when someone else looks over my work, they tend to catch things I seemed to have missed when revising my work on my own. They also suggest at looking over the way you structure your work. For example, what tone you are using throughout the project. Many people tend to change their tone as they write which is incorrect. Overall, the chapter was very informative and useful.
