It comes the time when a student has many things going on, or just decides to take the easy way out and cheats. This is called plagiarism. It has plagued academic life for many years. In the McGraw-Hill Handbook, the authors discuss ways that plagiarism can be avoided if done by accident. The best way is when writing a paper and using someone else’s work, make sure you are citing. Take notes as you are writing to remember what you have to cite. The book shows you steps on how to do it yourself. It is also discussed on the severe punishment that comes from plagiarism. You are risking not only failing the course, but also expulsion from the institution. Overall, plagiarism should be avoided at all costs. Even if you are tired.
